Let’s talk crowd pleasers

Okay. It’s in the title. You’re making a board, and know the crowd. They aren’t too adventurous but still want more than that pre-made cheddar, pepperoni, and jack cheese sealed platter. What do we go with? Let’s start with meats. Prosciutto. It feels fancy, it feels out of the box, but it’s a pretty simple salty meat. Salami, another alternative to pepperoni but you feel like you’re adding some ~bedazzle~ For the cheese we go pretty basic but with a twist. We add the sleeve of plain mozzarella, but add another sleeve with a sweet balsamic glaze. A cheddar. Whether it’s mild, sharp, Irish. Some sort of cheddar always goes over well. Buratta. It’s mozzarella that feels fancy. It goes great in the middle as the star of the show. Now we need one speciality cheese, I’ll let you get crazy with this. Read the labels, pick what stands out to you. Tip, pick out what you want. You’re doing the work, give yourself a treat. Lastly we need some acid and bite. Add some pickles, everyone likes pickles. Slice them up into bite size pieces. Or some pepporcinis. A nice acidic kick to cut all that creamy cheese. They feel fancy, you feel proud. A simple crowd pleaser.
