Restaurante Colosio

There is something so special about your first town you move to as an adult. Mike found Swedesboro. I was skeptical. I grew up in ‘Township’ basically a big town that felt like a mini city. Congested, people everywhere, multiple Wawa’s every few streets and at least 3 food stores. But we did it. And I fell IN LOVE. Swedesboro will always hold such a special place in my heart. It has a small town feel. It feels like you’re worlds away from where I grew up when it’s only 30 minutes. Beautiful farmlands. Gorgeous views. And the cutest Main Street. Where it is home to the BEST tacos I ever had. Restaurante Colosio is authentic and delicious. The tortilla soup is what I dream about. The pico de Gallo is so fresh and the tortilla chips taste homemade and fresh. But the tacos. Shew, those tacos. We do no cilantro, cheese, sour cream and onion. The Al Pastor with the pineapple is phenomenal, the chorizo, carnitas are all my favorite. But you MUST try the chorizo con papa. It’s a Mexican sausage quesadilla with potato and it’s AMAZING. If you’re gonna make a drive anywhere, make the drive for these tacos. They’re worth it.
